It was the first time that I visited Tanjung Bira. Tanjung Bira is the name of a beach located in the south tip of Sulawesi island. I heard many people say that Tanjung Bira has beautiful scenery. It has beautiful combination blue color of water, white and clean sands throughout the beach. When my friend asked me to join a trip he has planned, I agreed. I thanked him for such an incredible getaway. He is a friend of my bf who has invited me to join this friendly trip with other friends as well. He is a humble-low profile-wealthy guy I have ever known in my life.
We started the trip at around 5 in the afternoon. It took 5 hours approximately from Makassar to Tanjung Bira by car ride. I hardly remember what event we were celebrating at that moment or it was just like the other fun time like we used to spend. All I can remember is all of us were enjoying every bit of the moment, ate the foods that Mat’s gf served–she’s an expert, FYI, laying down on the terrace while our eyes staring at the scattered twinkle stars up above the sky, some friends playing instruments and sung some songs while the waves crashing out the corals. It was so quiet and peaceful.
We stayed in Amatoa resort for a couple of days and it was for free–I mean I didn’t waste every penny I have for the resort, for the food, for the scenery, their jokes that successfully made me laugh out loud, and how they welcomed me and so on.
The resort itself has a swimming pool with sea view. In my opinion, Tanjung Bira is better to visit on weekdays, because you can own the beach like the photo I have taken down below.
On the next day, while the boys went for diving around Pulau Kambing, we–the girls were strolling around the beach and had swimming in the edge of the beach, some boys accompanied us to snap the moment we had. It was a pleasant moment to be remembered. Once again, thank you, Mat!
Let me present you with some photos that we have taken.
