Tribute to John Lennon

The Beatles were an English rock band that form in Liverpool in 1960 with members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Eventhough few friends of mine say that I have an old-fashioned taste of music, I couldn’t care less at all. As long as their songs are easy listening to my ears, I will not stop repeating their songs as often as possible. I have to confess that I am a huge fan of The Beatles.

As a newbie, I have lack of information about them. But I’m trying to explain what I know as best as I could. So, there were time when John Lennon and Paul McCartney performing in Skiffle Groups. John was in a group called The Quarrymen. Paul introduced John to George Harrison. John, Paul and George, with the addition of John’s friend from art college, Stu Sutcliffe and the guitarist named Pete Best.

John Lennon and Paul McCartney became the most successful songwriting team of the 0th century. The two wrote songs that became a standards of a generation or two, and though other artist would over time sell more records and play to larger stadiums of fans, no one will ever match the impact of The Beatles. It was a time and place never to happen again. Not bad for a bunch of kids who simply loved playing and writing rock ‘n’ roll songs.

“The thing you must remember is that I’m the number one of John Lennon fan. I love him to this day and I always did love him.” – Paul McCartney
John Lennon have always become my favourite, but most of girls love Paul that much. They think Paul is more handsome than John. I like John’s voice, his British accent, and his concern about the world, all he wants was peace. “World is over”, he said. Unfortunately, his life was tragically cut short by four bullets from an assassin’s gun. John Lennon died on December 1980–while my Mom and Dad haven’t married yet, lol. I am wondering if he still alive today, there will be enormous number of fans.
Married at a young age, John and his first wife, Cynthia, had one son names Julian. In 1968, he met the woman who would become his second wife, Yoko Ono. And they had one son names Sean Lennon and they were famously inseparable. John always seemed to follow his heart both music and personally.

John Lennon was a musician, singer, songwriter, artist and activist. What can be said a man that hasn’t been said a million times over? From humble and troubled beginnings, Lennon would go on to literally change the world with his music, words, wit and his often-open wound approach to living life.
Its hard to believe that so many years have passed since John Lennon was murdered. Murdered in cold blood on the streets of his favourite city, New York. There is still no way to wrap your head around the insanity of that act, but there are plenty of ways to wrap our heads around the joy and excitement Lennon and his music has given the world over the years.
Down below are some of Lennon’s quote which I like the most:

“Peace is not something you wish for; It’s something you make, something you do, something you are, and something you give away.”

“Count your age by friends, not years. Count your age by smile, not tears.”

Trying to please everybody is impossible. If you did that, you’d end up in the middle of nobody liking you. You’ve just got to make the decision about what you think is your best and do it.”

The legend John Lennon.
